Bree’s “First Free Week” Playlist
This is my first week in a while without the mountainous task of getting up early, getting dressed, combating traffic and heading into the office. Well, not my full-time office anyway… But I did go to my part-time office and manage to get a parking ticket that’ll probably cost me more than I made that day of working ( 😅).
The [supposed] down time gave me a chance to slow down a bit which is always a good time or a slippery slope for me. This time around, it was a delicate teeter between the two. Although my first free week was busier than my normal week’s of full-time+part-time work, I did eventually manage some sort of a flow but that largely required music.
I accidentally clicked onto my Oldies But Goodies playlist and have been stuck on it ever since! Music from the 80’s-90’s just made you feel something and I kind of miss that. My friend used to laugh at me because I’d post a gym selfie or video and put Maxwell as my music to go with it, but truly, music that feels is so much better than music that doesn’t and, girl, Maxwell feels. Not only that, but they were gettin’ DOWN back in the day and, I don’t dance, but I do want a part of the fun.
I could tell the tales for hours, but what’s better, here are the jams:
Best,
Bree
